Final Package - Music Video,Digipack,Magazine Advert

Embedded below is the Finalised Music Video for 'Crazy Kids'. Ishpreet Sundal and Chloe Connell did majority of the editing. We all directed and also played a part in the filming process, however it was mainly Chloe's role. Ishpreet and Chloe edited majority of the filming as I took responsibility over the Digipack and Magazine Advert creation.

Here is the final digipack and magazine advert which i uploaded onto 'Imgur'

Finalized Chosen Magazine Adver
After reviewing the magazine advert with my group, we found that the final advert I created could be developed with the use of better resources as I was limited. With the new Photoshop software on IMacs in our sixth form, Chloe and Ishpreet used ideas I originally used (My Conventions of Itunes,RCA Logo, Website Link and Typography) Also using the picture I took when doing photography for ancillary texts.

The image I took was used as we decided she looks 'Happy' which is a theme within the music video. Similarly, Ishpreet and Chloe used the same colour pink edit and the same typography. However, the changed the typography colour from yellow to blue, as blue appeared better against the pink background.

Chloe and Ishpreet have also  changed the typography and font colour for 'Crazy Kids'.
They  made the 'C' larger than the rest of the letters, to make it stand out more to the audience as it shows the purpose of the advert which is to promote 'Crazy Kids'. The colour of it is the same blue, as the blue used on the 'Crazy Kids' on the red cup which is seen on the digipak cover created by me which they took and applied onto the advert like i did to the previous advert.

The drop shadow of 'Crazy Kids' is black, which makes it stand out as well as resembling grafffiti and shadows of lighting (e.g. in parties). This connotes 'fun', 'reckless', 'crazy' which are Kesha's star motif in her media products (e.g. Music videos,Digipacks and Adverts).

Here is the finalised magazine advert:

Final Magazine Advert

After researching Kesha's Magazine Adverts, I found that she uses a specific unique font as typography on her magazine advert and digipacks, therefore I downloaded it and used it on my final products. In this Magazine I used typical magazine advert conventions such as simple info (Artist name, Single/Album Name,Record Label name, Itunes Logo, Website Address). I edited the image to fit the digipack and music video as they all relate, I changed it from my initial plan of her looking to the side as I found that it is more conventional for the artist to be looking directly straight. I also included a picture which connotes a 'Sexy' Pose which is a star motif in Kesha's magazine adverts it attracts the male gaze also connotes the song lyrics.

Magazine Advert Images not used

These are Magazine Adverts I created but did not use as I felt like they were not conventional or engaging enough:
